This is a course for students taking a Master in Physics or Astrophysics. In this course students will learn the basics of Bayesian statistics with applications to astrophysical examples. Topics include parameter estimation, model selection, assigning probabilities, non-parametric estimation, experimental design and Monte-Carlo Markov chain methods.
