The course Statistische Methoden in Genomik und Proteomik (Statistical methods for biological high-throughput data) will cover important statistical methods and concepts for the analysis of biological high-throughput data. We will focus on bulk genomics, single-cell genomics, proteomic, and, in particular, microbiome data.
Statistical topics include
- Hypothesis testing for high-dimensional data
- Differential abundance and association analysis
- High-Dimensional regression models for biological data
- Graphical models for network inference
- Deep learning models for high-throughput data
